Duties:

 

Duties

 

Perform TIG welding and other welding techniques on various materials, including sheet metal and structural components.

Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts.

Fabricate components according to technical drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts into finished products or structures.

Conduct quality checks on welds and fabricated parts to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.

Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

Material range 3m -5mm

 

Experience required:

 

Requirements

 

Proven experience in MIG welding, with a solid understanding of MIG welding techniques.

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment such as Machine Rollers, Folders, and Guillotines.

Strong knowledge of fabrication processes involving sheet metal and structural steel.

Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and blueprint reading.

Experience in assembly work is desirable but not essential.

Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Previous experience working with welding equipment and metal fabrication is highly advantageous.
