Duties:
The successful candidate will work across the UK on projects that vary in size from a few days to a few months, and from a small box to a large building.
The position involves various construction operations, these include the installation of Modular steel faced insulated panels, along with the fitting and finishing of multiple types of trims, fixing angles, channels, and sealants.
The position would suit someone with food industry panel, cladding, or modular construction experience but anyone with transferable construction skills would be considered.
Transport to site from our base in Redditch is provided, along with a good standard of accommodation while working at any location greater than 50 miles away from the factory. A food allowance is also provided while working away.
Travelling time is also paid from the Factory to and from the project.
Experience required:
The successful candidate will need to attain standard construction training certification, this will include a CSCS card and IPAF 3a and 3b for mobile platforms, although training can be provided for the right person it would be advantageous if this certification is already held.
While not a requirement, other certification that would be an advantage includes, CPCS A16 counter balanced forklift, CPCS A17 Telehandler and CPCS A77 telehandler with 360 slew.
A clean UK driving license is preferred.

Salary
When working away from home a day rate of £175 per day and a food allowance of £25 per day will be paid, the rate covers any day up to 12 hours with overtime being paid after 12 hours and at weekends.
Local work is based on an 8-hour day with overtime paid after 8 hours Monday to Friday, and all day at weekends. The Hourly rate is currently under review but is presently £12.50 with overtime paid at x1.5.
