Duties:

 

Summary of Role:

The Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and updating of records, processing customer orders and providing support for the Midlands & South Manager and his team.

 

External Relationships:

Suppliers, Service Providers, Customers and Sub-contractors.

 

Internal Relationships:

Sales, designers, engineers, warehouse and purchasing staff

 

Key Tasks:

 

1. Provide telephone and email support to our clients.

2. Create Aftersales and product quotations for Midlands & South customers

3. Process product and aftersales orders

4. Provide admin support to the Regional Account Manager and his team

5. Prepare company related H&S documentation for distribution to clients.

6. Monitor and update EHS training records for all staff

7. General administration to support the business

8. Carry out weekly fire alarm checks

9. Look after aftersales calendar including quotation, planning, reviewing and drafting report summaries

 

 

Experience required:

 

Skills:

• Excellent communicator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment

• Attention to detail

• Excellent Organizational skills

• Strong computer literacy and numeracy skills

• Able to handle confidential information with professional discretion at all times.

• Able to multi-task as required and manage a workload to tight deadlines

• Takes full ownership of tasks given to them

• Has a positive attitude and a desire to continually challenge and improve the way we work

• Self motivated

Experience:

• Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint experience essential.

• Previous administration experience in a fast-paced environment.

• Previous experience working with Sage Line 50 would be preferable.

Qualifications:

• A recognised SVQ Qualification would be an advantage
